Rhubarb Tea

 

8 stalks rhubarb (cut into 3” pieces)

3 tea bags

3 quarts water

¾ cup sugar

 

Place rhubarb into 3 quarts of water, bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer; simmer for 1 hour.  Place tea bags in water the last 6 minutes.  Strain.  Place into a 2-quart pitcher and add sugar.  Chill in refrigerator.  Serve over ice.
